Cloud Symposium on Social Organizations and Social Governance in the Post-Pandemic World: Trends and Prospects

The high-end Symposium on Social Organizations Development and Social Governance in the Post-Pandemic Era: Trends and Prospects was convened through Tencent (VooV) Meeting platform on the morning of May 26, 2020. Co-sponsored by UCASS and Social Sciences Academic Press (SSAP), the symposium was organized by UCASS School of Governance, with the attendance and welcoming remarks by Prof. Lin Wei, Vice President and doctoral adviser of UCASS and Research Fellow Xie Shouguang, President of SSAP. Prof. Xu Ming, Head of Department of Labor and Social Security at UCASS School of Governance presided over the event, as it pooled wisdom from experts, professors and scholars from CASS, universities and government departments across China.

Focusing on two topics – “future development trends of social organizations in the post-pandemic era” and “social organizations participation in social governance in the post-pandemic era”, the symposium has attracted heated exchanges and contributions by scholars from UCASS, Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C, Central School of Communist Youth League of China, SSAP, University of International Business and Economics, Beijing University of Technology, Capital University of Economics and Business, Zhengzhou University, and Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau.
