The launch event signifies the official renaming of the Journal of Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences into the Journal of University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (hereinafter referred to as “the Journal”), changing from a bimonthly to a monthly publication. Geo Peiyong pointed out that this marks a new milestone of the Journal. With its mandate to empower the development of CASS and UCASS, the Journal will always stay true to its original aspiration, with its distinctive features. The prosperity of the Journal will be an integral part of the development of CASS and UCASS, building upon a governance structure that combines editing, research and teaching with the UCASS orientation to integrated research and education. It will also translate the strengths of CASS and UCASS in research and talent cultivation into its own strengths of brand and publication.
