School of Global Education and Development
The School takes on five sets of duties associated with international education, training and exchange. The School provides the Master's Degree Program in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL). A series of high-level academic seminars for international participants are delivered by the School with a number of seminars being entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce of China. The School organizes intensive continuing education programs for in-service professionals covering the fields of foreign languages and strategic management among others. In partnership with Tulane University, the School manages a joint-venture education program based in Beijing. In this program, students have two options of majors, Master of Finance, and Master of Management in Energy. The School cooperates with the University of Gdańsk, Poland on jointly operating the Confucius Institute in Gdańsk .
