On April 1, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) held a major achievements release conference in Beijing, presenting 22 representative academic results, including the 2024 Analysis and Forecast of China's Economic Situation. Several deans of the research-and-education-integrated schools at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS) had their research released at the conference which were recognized as major achievements by CASS.

During the conference, Hu Bin, director of the Bureau of Scientific Research Management at CASS, stated that as the "national team" of China's philosophy and social sciences, CASS plays an essential role in disseminating outstanding recent research findings to society. This further enhances the decision-making support, academic promotion, knowledge dissemination, and international communication of research outcomes. It aims to bring excellent philosophical and social science theories closer to the general public, elevate them to the global academic stage, and integrate them into the great practice of Chinese-style modernization. The 22 major achievements released are rooted in Chinese practice, focus on contemporary themes, and align closely with the overall development of the Party and the state. They reflect central decision-making needs, facilitate academic exchange, and enhance disciplinary development, thereby demonstrating the academic level and outcome quality of CASS.
