On the afternoon of April 15, Alishev Timirkhan Bulatović, Vice-Rector of Kazan Federal University, visited UCASS for potential collaborative initiatives between the two institutions. Gao Wenshu, Vice President of UCASS, met with the guest in Conference Room 233 of the Administrative Building. They were accompanied by Li Yongquan, Former Director General of the Institute for the Russia-Eastern Europe-Central Asia of CASS and Director of the Institute of Advanced Studies in Sino-Russia Relations at UCASS; Assistant to the President Zhan Long; Su Ruixue, Executive Dean of the School of International Politics and Economics; and Li Ti, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Division.
Gao Wenshu warmly welcomed Vice-Rector Bulatović's visit on behalf of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He mentioned that preliminary discussions had led to a consensus on aspects such as student training and the co-construction of platforms, and hoped that this meeting would further promote the high-quality development of international cooperation and exchange between the two universities.
Timirkhan Bulatović noted that the main purpose of his visit was to discuss the details of the cooperation memorandum signed by both parties last year to advance the two institutions' collaboration.
Participants from both sides engaged in thorough discussions regarding planned cooperative matters, including joint student cultivation, academic forums, and platform construction. Moving forward, both sides will continue to promote the implementation of cooperative projects and explore broader and deeper avenues for collaboration.
After the meeting, Timirkhan Bulatović and his delegation visited the history museum of UCASS.
