The School of Public Policy and Management is composed of two educational centers: Master of Public Administration Education Center (MPA) and Master of Taxation Education Center (MT).
Boasting a team of 29 supervisors, including many well-known scholars, MPA enrolls 150 students every year and the MPA program runs for two years. In 2012, MPA participated in the third national MPA teaching qualification assessment, ranking first among nearly 200 candidates. From 2017 to 2019, MPA participated in the national MPA case competition and entered the national top 100 for three consecutive years. MPA has maintained long-term cooperation and exchange relations with relevant universities and departments in Hong Kong and has the partnership with some top universities in the United States.
MT has engaged 76 senior experts from National Academy of Economic Strategy of CASS, Academy of Sciences of the Ministry of Finance, Central University of Finance and Economics, Renmin University of China and State Taxation Administration as supervisors. Every year MT enrolls 50 students and implements the two-year system.
In September, 2018, UCASS hosted the First Social Security Management Forum themed on “40 Years of Reform and Opening-up: Contribution and Experience of Social Security”.
